Canyon Rising Scholarship
The Canyon Rising Scholarship program was designed to assist Arizona students demonstrating significant financial need and aims to support underserved students in fulfilling their educational dreams. Grand Canyon University is currently evolving the Students Inspiring Students scholarship that was created in 2016, to serve and give even more students a private-Christian education.
Canyon Rising scholars will be supported in their academics, character and leadership, as they build community supporting them in college and career. Connecting scholars to real-life work experiences, in their field, prior to graduation is an overarching goal of Grand Canyon University: to bring about human flourishing and for upward mobility. Our vision is to help students find their purpose and pursue the American dream of obtaining a career that can change their lives for future generations to come. For the Lopes That Go Places
When you purchase a GCU license plate from the Arizona Department of Transportation, a portion of your proceeds goes directly to GCU’s Canyon Rising program where students from low-income families have the opportunity to attend GCU.
